Hi, I'm Lisa,
I’m a proud Yorkshire lass, a family-orientated people-person, and someone who genuinely loves hearing other people’s stories.
I believe every life has a story worth telling, and every family deserves to see that story honoured with care, compassion and warmth. I create warm, personal and truly meaningful ceremonies for every chapter of life - from weddings and vow renewals to naming ceremonies, funerals, and memorials.
Every ceremony I write is completely bespoke.
No templates. No copy-and-paste.
Just your memories, your milestones, your love, your laughs and your legacy, thoughtfully shaped into a ceremony that feels real, relaxed and unmistakably you.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years as a midwife, specialising in bereavement care. Supporting families at both the very beginning of life and at times of profound loss has given me a deep understanding of how important it is to feel safe, heard and gently guided. I bring that same calm reassurance, emotional insight and steady presence to every ceremony I lead - along with my naturally smiley nature and, when the moment allows, a little sprinkle of humour too.
Whether you’re celebrating love, welcoming a new arrival, or saying goodbye to someone precious, I will walk alongside you and help you tell your story beautifully.

I am a professionally trained, independent
Funeral, Wedding and Naming Celebrant.
I completed my training with the International College of Professional Celebrants, and I am also currently working towards my Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy, (accredited by NOCN).
As an independent celebrant, I am not restricted to specific venues, set scripts or prescribed wording, and this gives me the freedom to create truly personalised ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, your values and your story... whether we're celebrating a love story, welcoming a new life, or honouring a life lived.
I am fully insured, providing peace of mind alongside a professional, personalised service.
